His father looked at him one day and said, “Son, why are you always scratching your head?”
“Well”, the boy responded, “I guess because I am the only one who knows it itches.”

This is inner sense! Only you know. Nobody else can know. It cannot be observed from the outside. When you have a headache, only you know – you cannot prove it.. When you are happy, only you know – you cannot prove it. You cannot put it on the table to be inspected by everybody, dissected, analyzed.
Inner sense has it own validity. But because of the scientific training, people have lost trust in their inner sense. They depend on others. You depend s much that if somebody says, “You are looking very happy,” you start feeling happy. If twenty people decide to make you unhappy, they can make you unhappy. They just have to repeat it the whole – day – whenever you come across them, they have to say to you, “you are looking very unhappy, very sad. What is the matter? Somebody died or something?” And you will start suspecting; so many people are saying that you are unhappy, you must be.
You depend on people’s opinions. You have depended on people’s opinions so much that you have lost all tract of inner sense. This inner sense has to be rediscovered, because all that is beautiful and all that is good and all that is divine can be felt only by the inner sense.

Comprehending Engineers

I got these anecdote long back through mail. She attaches herself with “Spandan” a social activity group for unemployed youths. Raj, founder as well as coordinator of the group. He introduces her as Maalthi, a new activist in his group….

I know that such activists are living in fool’s paradise.what Raj is doing is only he emotionally attach all these fellows with the common reason….you have all…you deserve….but you don’t get opportunity as you are unable to fulfill the demand of the system. For govt. jobs you don’t have the sum to offer for your selection, and for pvt.sector you do not have the permanent positions, as you are hired as well as fired
Whenever they want.

But Malthi gives new dimension to this group. She prepared the database of all fellows according to there qualification, capabilities & interests. She suggests Raj to distribute
The database to the HR firms.she herself goes through Appointment pages of all dailies
And met the concerning firm with the suitable fellows database….

Raj…..
Maalthi definitely gives way to our activity. She never tells anything about her else than
From where she came. I never heard about her family background. She only knows to work; keep her busy with ton of load. It’s nice that someone taking pain, but have some
Personal likes & dislike. She never argues. She suggests, but not forces anything. And this is the reason I don’t believe her, but I don’t show her.

Anand never a part of our group, he always made fun of me. But I know, he never realizes that what the hell we are leaving. He is well settled with a good job worth his talent, he got the opportunity, and we don’t. And where we go even our parents are fading up with us. Not because we are idle but they saw many Anand around us.

Why I think negative …why I saw dark side of everything….but I don’t care…what I know is my way is different. I want to struggle, with all my fellows.i will definitely
Help them to achieve what they deserve...

Maalthi...
What she want to say…. I left it for you……I just want to know what you think.
I definitely reveal……after your responses.

Who care....?

No it’s not like that...
I personally visit the orphanage and see that things are even worst…
It published in HT also….

A firm voice of a lady to whom I can only hear sounded like this. Voice of a lady teacher by profession and interest in social activities. Group of three social activists of their ages discuss the issues of child labour, orphanage etc...
Its 2 tier AC coach, everyone just wants to pass the time till train reaches the destination.

I do not agree …things are changing. Govt already ban child labour since last Oct..
And they are taking action ….
I also want to mention my son adopt a 3 months baby from orphanage... But it’s too difficult for him as he is an NRI….. Even as I am a social activist we go through the strict procedure…..

Voice of a loder lady. In her 50’s if my guess is correct. Wife of retired Major, actually one lady comment that, “unty aap ko dekhke yeh baat maanni padegi ki unkle army me the”… I don’t know what she wants to say….
Voices are intense.as its 1.00 pm the ladies are in the mood to argue. I just start taking my
Lunch …food from train pentry & such discussion in long journey are quite digestible.

Last week I arrange a picnic for the children in children welfare hostel, where all the children enjoy a whole day outing. And as I planned I met Mrs.Renuka Choudhary (MIN.OF…) with the children as she gives us her valuable time.
And for your surprise, knowing that she is a leader one boy from them shouted “Netaao ko to goli maarni chahiye”. Even I feel stunned.

Younger lady of the group married before 3 months and again busy with her social activities. She is a freelance writer. Writes on social issues and associate with a NGO.

Why I wrote all this…even I don’t know that all they are talking is just passing time or
Just they impress each other, as most of the ladies do. He was attempting to show how conditioned we have become to alarmists practicing junk science and spreading fear of everything in our environment.
In his project he urged people to sign a petition demanding strict control or total elimination of the chemical “dihydrogen monoxide.” And for plenty of good reasons:

1. It can cause excessive sweating and vomiting
2. It is a major component of acid rain
3.It can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
4. Accidental inhalation can kill you
5. It contributes to erosion
6. It decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes
7. It has been found in tumors of terminal cancer

He asked fifty people if they supported a ban of the chemical.
Forty-three said yes and six were undecided. Only one knew that the chemical, “dihydrogen monoxide” was water. Once the reaction is complete, place the sheet on a 25C heat-transfer table, allowing the product to come to equilibrium.

Do U....?

Engineering & Horse

Think of this next time you are writing a spec.>
The US Standard railroad gauge is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That's an
exceedingly odd number.

Why was that gauge used?>
Because that's the way they built them in England, and the US railroads
were built by English expatriates.

Why did the English people build them like that?>
Because the first rail lines were built by the same people who built
pre-railroad tramways, and that's the gauge they used.

Why did "they" use that gauge then?
Because the people who built the tramways used the same jigs and tools
that they used for building wagons, which used that wheel spacing.

Okay! Why did the wagons use that odd wheel spacing?>
Well, if they tried to use any other spacing the wagons would break on
some of the old, long distance roads, because that's the spacing of the
old wheel ruts.

So who built these old rutted roads?>
The first long distance roads in Europe were built by Imperial Rome for
the benefit of their legions. The roads have been used ever since.

And the ruts?
The initial ruts, (which everyone else had to match for fear of
destroying their wagons) were first made by Roman war chariots.
Since the chariots were made for or by Imperial Rome they were all
alike in the matter of wheel spacing.

Thus, we have the answer to the original question. The United States
standard railroad gauge of 4 feet, 8.5 inches derives from the original
specification for an Imperial Roman army war chariot.

Specs and Bureaucracies live forever. So, the next time you are handed
a specification and wonder what horse's brain came up with it, you may be
exactly right. Because the Imperial Roman chariots were made to be just
wide enough to accommodate the back ends of two war horses.

Now the twist to the story....>
There's an interesting extension of the story about railroad gauge and
horses' behinds. When we see a Space Shuttle sitting on the launch pad,
there are two big booster rockets attached to the sides of the main Fuel
tank. These are the solid rocket boosters, or SRBs. The SRBs are made
by Thiokol at a factory in Utah. The engineers who designed the SRBs might
have preferred to make them a bit fatter, but the SRBs had to be shipped by
train from the factory to the launch site. The railroad line to the factory
runs through a tunnel in the mountains. The SRBs had to fit through that
tunnel. The tunnel is slightly wider than a railroad track, and the railroad
track is about as wide as two horses' behinds.

So we now see a major design feature of what is arguably the world's
most advanced transportation system was determined by the width of a horse.!

Tell me why

If our normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees, why do we feel uncomfortable when the air temperature is 98 degrees?

According to Yahoo! Health, body temperature is a measurement of the body's ability to "generate and get rid of heat." This definition is key to understanding why temperatures in the 90s can be downright uncomfortable.
Think of your body as a steam engine. Under normal temperatures, it generates more heat than it needs. It's generally agreed that room temperature (68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit) allows the body to dissipate "waste heat" with the least amount of effort.
How so, you ask? Because heat naturally transfers from warmer to cooler environments. Room temperature lets nature do its thing with minimal effort on our part, but when the ambient temperature rises, it takes more energy to get rid of excess body heat.
When the outside temperature approaches our

a video clip that is particularly liked by engineers.

Comprehending Engineers

Three engineering students were gathered together discussing the possible designers of the human body. In India, the Nasadiya Sukta of the Rigveda (RV 10.129) contains ontological speculation in terms of various logical divisions that were later recast formally as the four circles of catuskoti: "A", "not A", "A and not A", and "not A and not not A".[6] The Chinese philosopher Gongsun Long (ca. 325–250 BC) proposed the paradox "One and one cannot become two, since neither becomes two." [7] In China, the tradition of scholarly investigation into logic, however, was repressed by the Qin dynasty following the legalist philosophy of Han Feizi.

The first sustained work on the subject of logic which has survived was that of Aristotle.[8] The formally sophisticated treatment of modern logic descends from the Greek tradition, the latter mainly being informed from the transmission of Aristotelian logic.

Logic in Islamic philosophy also contributed to the development of modern logic, which included the development of "Avicennian logic" as an alternative to Aristotelian logic. Avicenna's system of logic was responsible for the introduction of hypothetical syllogism,[9] temporal modal logic,[10][11] and inductive logic.[12][13] The rise of the Asharite school, however, limited original work on logic in Islamic philosophy, though it did continue into the 15th century and had a significant influence on European logic during the Renaissance.

In India, innovations in the scholastic school, called Nyaya, continued from ancient times into the early 18th century, though it did not survive long into the colonial period. In the 20th century, western philosophers like Stanislaw Schayer and Klaus Glashoff have tried to explore certain aspects of the Indian tradition of logic. According to Hermann Weyl (1929):

“ Occidental mathematics has in past centuries broken away from the Greek view and followed a course which seems to have originated in India and which has been transmitted, with additions, to us by the Arabs; in it the concept of number appears as logically prior to the concepts of geometry. ”

During the medieval period, major efforts were made to show that Aristotle's ideas were compatible with Christian faith. During the later period of the Middle Ages, logic became a main focus of philosophers, who would engage in critical logical analyses of philosophical arguments
